Maria Sharapova receives a two-year ban, she will appeal this decision.

Today, the ITF announced its verdict on Maria’s case. In March, Sharapova admitted on a press conference she had tested positive for Meldonium at the Australian Open. The hearing took place on May 18, and today it was announced Maria will receive a two-year ban, starting since January 2016.

However, Maria Sharapova has released a statement in which she says she will appeal this decision immediately.
